Does Hitch edit my theme code?

No. Frequently Bought Together and Bundle Offer are theme app blocks you add to your product page in the theme editor. Cart Upsell is a theme app embed you switch on once. Uninstalling removes all three completely, and your theme files are never touched.

Will the discount at checkout match the widget price?

Yes. A Shopify Function applies the discount at checkout, so the price shown in the widget is always the price the shopper is charged.

Does it work with my theme?

Hitch works with OS 2.0 themes, which covers every current theme in the Shopify Theme Store. Widgets adopt your theme's fonts and can be styled to match your colors.

What happens when a product goes out of stock?

In automatic mode, Hitch swaps the out-of-stock product for the next strongest match. In hand-picked mode, the store owner is notified so they can choose a replacement.

No. Matching is algorithmic: Hitch analyzes your store's real order history and co-purchase patterns. AI is only used to enrich product tags so the engine has better data to match on.

Can I pick my own bundles?

Yes. Hand-picked mode is available on Starter and up. You choose exactly which products bundle together, and Hitch handles the widget and the discount.

What happens after the 14-day Pro trial?

Your plan reverts to Free and your bundles stay live. Every plan includes unlimited live bundles. Paid features like hand-picked bundles and the Selectable Bundle Offer switch off until you upgrade, and the Free plan includes 100 orders per 30 days.

Can shoppers choose which items to bundle?

Yes. The Selectable mode of the Bundle Offer widget shows real checkboxes. Shoppers pick which products to include, and the discount applies to exactly what they picked, 2 or more items.
